Early Head Start Teacher

Location: 4629 Aicholtz Road, Clermont County

Degree Required: Infant Toddler CDA Credential (Child Development Associate)

Preferred: AA Early Childhood or related field preferred.

2 years' experience in an early childhood classroom preferred

Additional Requirements:

Pass physical examination, background check and drug screening.

Work Hours: Position is Full Time Year Round

Child Focus Early Childhood Division is seeking a full time Early Head Start Teacher to work with a group of 10 children ages birth to 3 in a classroom setting.

The lead teacher is responsible for providing a learning experience that accommodates children's needs and stimulates learning across all domains of development including lesson planning, screening and curriculum implementation. The lead teacher also works with the assistant teachers to ensure children's basic needs are met and that the daily routine runs smoothly. The lead teacher establishes a partnership with families, and helps the families set and meet goals for their children and themselves.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development, flexible, dependable and has the ability to work well with others.
