The Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences at Coastal Carolina University announces an opening for a Clinical Teaching Associate in Early Childhood beginning in Fall 2022.




Candidates must have a Master's Degree with 18 hours of graduate coursework (or extensive documented experience) in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field with a minimum of three years successful teaching experience in grades prekindergarten to grade 3 in PK-12 public schools. Prior university experience is desirable. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses and/or supervise field experiences and internships.




About the Program and University:

The Early Childhood Education program at Coastal Carolina University is a specifically designed program of study that meets educational requirements for South Carolina licensure in grades PreK-3. The Early Childhood Education program includes extensive clinical experiences in area schools, beginning in the first semester of study in education and continuing through the internship experience at the end of the program. Clinical fieldwork begins with a focus on guided observation experiences, followed by expectations for individual, small group, and whole-class instruction.
